Designed to nurture creativity and build a strong foundation in art, this class introduces students to essential techniques and a variety of materials while encouraging self-expression and imaginative thinking.
What to Expect
60 minute, weekly guided projects using paint, collage, and mixed media
Introduction to famous artists, art styles, and creative concepts
Lessons in color, composition, and design principles
A balance of structured instruction and creative freedom
A supportive environment that builds confidence and curiosity

Meet Mrs. Estela
Art has always been my way of connecting—to myself, to others, and to something greater. What began as a childhood passion has evolved into a lifelong journey shaped by my work in design, events, and community spaces.
With a background in communications and creative programming, I bring people together through art, from immersive experiences to youth-centered initiatives. A meaningful collaboration with the Boys & Girls Club of the Tenderloin empowered young artists to create gallery work tied to live theater, reinforcing the value of their creativity.
I believe art is more than a skill—it’s a tool for confidence, expression, and connection. Through Brentwood’s Craft Club, I strive to create welcoming spaces where artists of all ages can explore, create, and feel proud of what they make.
